Halloween - Kids Party, Daycare Fun and Trick-or-Treating
This was another big and busy Halloween. The end of October saw several events that made for lots of fun for the kids and their mom and dad. I was lucky enough to help with Maddy's Halloween party at school. They do a really nice job and the kids get to parade around the school in their costumes. This is followed by games and activities for the kids. We also went to Dan and Ann's Pumpkin Carving Party. This is still a big hit for me and the kids had a wonderful time. Although, we did not win the contest, we had a great time making pumpkins and Gabe had a great time making lots of new friends. We did some additional carving at home and made a very complex Commander Cody from Star Wars the Clone Wars. It turned out great. The kids did a great job cleaning out the "guts" of the pumpkin. Halloween day was a lot of fun for Gabe. The daycare had a party and the kids had lots of fun and of course some yummy treats. Halloween night was warm. We had a perfect Halloween weather wise. Both kids did a great job and Gabe only got a little tired at the very end. This is impressive considering that Maddy and some of the older kids in the group were literally running from house to house. They were determined to hit every house in the neighborhood. Also I have included some pictures of me and my co-workers dressed as zombies. Yes, work finally got the better of me. Seriously, it was a part of the charity event to help and each department had to host a TV/Movie themed mini-golf hole. Our theme was Night of the Living Dead (Zombies). We did win the prize for best hole.
